Dedicated to empowering vulnerable populations across the country through Volunteer Programs
At Global Hearts Volunteer Network, our commitment to
community transformation goes beyond addressing immediate needs; we
aim to cultivate lasting change by empowering those most vulnerable. Our
focus on orphans, street children, individuals with disabilities, and widows
reflects a deep-seated belief in the dignity of every person. We recognize
that true empowerment arises when communities unite to address social
challenges, breaking cycles of poverty, discrimination, and neglect.
Come join us
We welcome volunteers aged 18yrs and above to join us in supporting our mission. Volunteers have the opportunity to engage in various activities that directly benefit the communities we serve, fostering meaningful change while gaining valuable experience.
Volunteer Activities
Volunteers will participate in a range of activities, including:
- Assisting in the daily care of orphans and street children, such as tutoring, mentoring, and organizing recreational activities.
- Conducting HIV/AIDS awareness campaigns, including community education and distribution of educational materials.
- Supporting individuals with disabilities through skills training programs and assisting with events that promote inclusion.
- Helping to facilitate drug and substance rehabilitation sessions, including counseling support and community outreach.
- Organizing and participating in anti-FGM advocacy events and workshops to educate communities.
- Assisting in programs aimed at empowering girls and women through mentorship and life skills training.
- Providing support and organizing skill development activities for widows to help them gain economic independence
