Global Hearts Volunteer Network - Kenya

We are committed to creating a society where everyone, regardless of
their background, has the opportunity to thrive. Our initiatives focus
on providing access to education, healthcare, and rehabilitative
services while promoting awareness on critical social issues such as
HIV/AIDS, drug and substance abuse, gender inequality, and Female
Genital Mutilation (FGM)

By working closely with local communities, partners, and volunteers,
we aim to implement solutions that create meaningful and lasting
impact. Through collaboration, compassion, and action, Global Hearts
Volunteer Network – Kenya is making strides towards a brighter and
more inclusive future for all.

MISSION STATEMENT

To empower vulnerable communities in Kenya through targeted support programs aimed at orphans, widows, street children, and marginalized groups, fostering sustainable development and social equity.

VISION STATEMENT

To create a society where every individual, regardless of their background, has access to opportunities for growth, support, and empowerment, fostering a future of hope, dignity, and equality for all.

Objectives

  • Supporting Orphans and Street Children: Provide education, and healthcare to at least 500 orphans annually.
  • HIV/AIDS Awareness: Conduct educational workshops reaching 1,000 individuals each year.
  • Helping the Disabled: Facilitate vocational training for at least 200 disabled individuals annually.
  • Drug and Substance Rehabilitation: Provide rehabilitative services to over 100 individuals per year.
  • Campaigning Against FGM: Raise awareness through community outreach, targeting 10,000 individuals annually.
  • Girl-Child Empowerment: Implement mentorship programs for 300 girls annually.
  • Widows Empowerment: Support 150 widows annually through skill development programs, financial assistance, and community integration initiatives.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Our primary beneficiaries include:

  • Orphans and street children in urban and rural areas.
  • Individuals living with disabilities.
  • Communities affected by HIV/AIDS.
  • Individuals struggling with drug and substance abuse.
  • Girls and women at risk of FGM and gender-based violence.
  • Widows in need of support and empowerment.
  • Communities in need of health services and education.
  • Youths with talents in sports, arts, and music.
  • Environmental conservation-focused groups, including those interested in tree planting, waste management, and climate change awareness.

 

IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGY

  • Community Engagement: Conduct outreach to identify needs and mobilize community support.
  • Partnership Development: Collaborate with Volunteers and Well wishers to leverage resources.
  • Program Launch: Initiate programs based on identified needs, beginning with pilot projects.
  • Capacity Building: Train volunteers and staff to deliver services effectively.

PARTNERSHIPS AND COLLABORATIONS

We are seeking partnerships with:

  • Non-Governmental Organizations, Volunteers and Well-wishers.

FUNDING AND SUSTAINABILITY

We are seeking program funding through:

  • Donations from individuals and corporate sponsors, well-wishers, and volunteers.

MONITORING AND EVALUATION

We have established a framework to monitor progress and evaluate the effectiveness of our programs. This includes:

  • Regular assessments and feedback from beneficiaries.
  • Collection of data on program participation and outcomes.
  • Annual reports highlighting successes and areas for improvement.

We welcome volunteers aged 18yrs and above to join us in supporting our mission. Volunteers have the opportunity to engage in various activities that directly benefit the communities we serve, fostering meaningful change while gaining valuable experience.
