Agriculture and Sustainable Food Program
Our Programs
Agriculture and Sustainable Food Program
Food security and sustainable agricultural practices are essential for empowering communities and building resilience against environmental challenges. This program offers a hands-on opportunity for volunteers to work alongside local farmers, agricultural specialists, and community groups to promote sustainable farming, enhance crop yields, and ensure access to nutritious food.
Volunteers will engage in organic farming techniques, agroforestry, permaculture design, and community garden management. By introducing sustainable techniques and practical farming solutions, volunteers contribute directly to reducing hunger, promoting self-reliance, and fostering environmental stewardship across rural and peri-urban communities in Kenya.
