Supporting orphans and street children program

This program provides a unique opportunity for volunteers to make a tangible diﬀerence in the lives of vulnerable children. Many children in Kenya face the harsh realites of living on the streets or growing up without parents, leaving them exposed to hunger, abuse, neglect, and a lack of opportunites. By volunteering in this program, you will contribute to creatng a safe, nurturing environment where these children can receive care, educaton, and support to build a brighter future.

Volunteers will work in collaboraton with local organizatons and caregivers to deliver holistc care, focusing on improving the emotional, social, and physical well-being of orphans and street children.

Program Objectives

To provide safe shelter and nutritious meals to orphans and street children.
To ensure access to quality education and learning resources.
To oﬀer essential health services, including medical checkups and counselling.
To create an emotionally supportive environment that fosters personal growth.
To facilitate mentorship programs that inspire hope and confidence.
To equip children with vocational training and life skills to promote self-reliance.

To promote cross-cultural understanding by linking volunteers with local communities

Volunteer Responsibilites

Assisting in the day-to-day running of children’s homes or shelters.
Providing meals and ensuring proper nutrition for the children.
Organizing educational activities, including tutoring and assisting with homework.
Conducting mentorship programs and oﬀering psychosocial support.
Participating in creative activities such as art, music, and sports to promote emotional wellbeing.
Assisting with health checkups and educating children on basic hygiene practices.
Helping organizes vocational training workshops to teach practical skills.
Supporting outreach programs aimed at identifying and rescuing children from the streets.
Fundraising or mobilizing resources for the children’s needs

Program Duration
